Robert F. Triplett Jr.

Robert F. Triplett Jr., born Jan. 29, 1947, departed for glory Oct. 9, 2018.

A beloved man has left this earth and we mourn for our loss. Our hearts are broken. But there is cause for celebration. We celebrate a life well lived. We celebrate in having walked life with this man, and had coffee with this brother and breakfast with this father. We celebrate his joy, his smile, his love, love, love.

He was a devoted husband to Debbie, a dedicated father to Jeff (Billie Jo), Derek, Caleb and Ayliah. A proud Papa to Logan and Elizabeth. Loving brother to Diana (Tom) Richards, Jim (Shirley) Triplett, Rick Hudson, Mark (Cindy) Hudson, Cynthia (Bob Jeffreys) Hudson and a special uncle to his treasured nieces and nephews.

He recently said that, “We are here to live life fully. We are here to live life abundantly. And I have lived!”

The measure of a man is in the legacy he leaves behind and in the hole that is in our hearts at his departure. Both are great.

He will be missed.

And know there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day and not only me, but all who have longed for his appearing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date at the Steel Creek Church of Charlotte, 1929 W. Arrowood Road, Charlotte, N.C. The family suggests memorial contributions to Saint Luke’s Hospice House or Steele Creek Church-Nigeria Church Plant.
