Looking for a job in Oregon? Don't count on Grants Pass.

That's according to a study by career site Zippia that named the southern Oregon town as the fourth worst job market in the United States for 2018.

Zippia looked at 386 metro areas and ranked wage change, unemployment rate change and unemployment rate to arrive at its conclusions. Grants Pass has an employed population of 24,810, an unemployment rate of 5.2 percent and an annual mean wage of $39,020.

But Grants Pass is not the lone Oregon town toward the top of the list. Medford, its neighbor 30 miles to the south, showed up at No. 21. No other Oregon towns are in the top 50.

Ocean City, New Jersey, with an unemployment rate of 10.1 percent, was No. 1. See the top 50 here. Zippia also looked at the nation's best job markets. No Oregon town showed up in the top 100.
