Two people shot, one killed in Aliquippa

State police identified the suspect as 36-year-old Dana Penny, a man they said was also facing felony drug charges from the attorney general's office.
"Right now, we definitely know that he is a suspect," Trooper James Long said. "There may be somebody else, but at this point, we're only going to commit to him."

The shooting happened at a home in the 100 block of Third Avenue.
Long said that someone inside the house called 911 shortly before 1 a.m.
Children who were inside the home when officers arrived are now "safe with family," police said.

The person who died has not yet been identified.
Beaver County 911 officials confirmed that a second victim was flown to a hospital.
Long did not say why police have identified Penny as a suspect, but he said that anyone who sees the man should use "extreme caution."
Anyone who has a tip on Penny's whereabouts is asked to call state police in Beaver at 724-773-7400. Anonymous calls will be accepted.
