Instacart, an online grocery delivery service, will be launching here in Bozeman on Thursday, June 21.

Citizens of Bozeman will soon be able to hand pick items from trusted local grocery stores and have them delivered in as little as one hour, according to Instacart.

Participating local stores include Albertsons, Safeway, Costco, CVS Pharmacy and Petco.

“Over the past year we’ve seen incredible demand in the Bozeman area,” said Michelle McCrae, General Manager at Instacart. “We work with a variety of local retailers to provide the freshest, highest quality groceries to our customers. Launching in Bozeman gives us an opportunity to expand service to Montana. We’re also excited to build a world class shopper community, where we can offer fun and flexible income earning opportunities for our shoppers, who ultimately deliver this amazing service to the community.”

This could be a valuable resource for many people, especially those with busy schedules.

For orders of $35 or more a fee of $5.99 will be added,  but if you end up using this service quite often you should look into their membership where they offer free, same-day delivery for orders of $35 or more.

The membership fee is $15 a month or $149 for the year.

Also, first time users can use the promo code HEYBOZEMAN (expires 9/25) at checkout to get $20 off of an order of $35 or more, plus a free first time delivery.
