Fire crews doused a wildfire that burned near a neighborhood in Scotts Valley off Mount Hermon Road.
The fire grew to about 5 acres in size and was reported around 3 pm.
No injuries were reported.
Cal Fire attacked the flames by air and by ground, while Santa Cruz Fire, Central Fire Protection and Scotts Valley Fire all helped by battle the flames on the ground.
The cause of the blaze has not been released.
