Brandon F. Spicher was named associate director of development in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He holds bachelor's degrees in political science and communication from UA and has worked in Washington as a legislative coordinator for a governmental affairs firm and in the offices of former Sen. Mark Pryor and former Rep. Mike Ross. Spicher also served as a member of the board of directors for the Washington chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association from 2013 to 2018.

Benjamin Barnett joined the Rogers branch of Generations Bank as a teller. He has been in banking for a year and was working at Eagle Bank & Trust.

Serena Munns was named executive director of the Northwest Arkansas office of the American Heart Association. She began volunteering for the organization in 2008 and became a staff member in August 2015. Munns graduated from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro with a degree in communications, journalism and marketing and worked in the hospitality industry before joining the the heart association.

David Bourne, board certified licensed professional counselor, joined Preferred Counseling at 4951 Old Greenwood Road, Fort Smith. He graduated from East Central University in Ada, Okla., with a master's degree in psychological services. He is licensed in Arkansas and Oklahoma, where he has been practicing for the last several years. His primary focus is counseling children, teenagers, and families.

William Winn of Winn Environmental Tech LLC in Springdale recently received the Arkansas Water Works and Water Environment Association 2018 Wastewater Outstanding Achievement Award for utilities serving populations less than 5,001.
