Small earthquake strikes off Oregon coast

A magnitude-3.8 earthquake struck off the Oregon coast early Thursday.

The quake struck at 1:44 a.m. about 77 miles west of Coos Bay at a depth of roughly 6 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no reports of damage, but the quake was felt as far away as Eugene.
