Syria: Bahrain backs US aggression, Bolivia strongly condemns

(MENAFN) Bahrain has voiced full support for the military offensive carried out by the US, UK and France on the Syrian soil following the alleged chemical attack on Douma in Eastern Ghouta.

"This military operation was necessary to protect civilians in all Syrian territory and to prevent the use of any prohibited weapons that would increase the frequency of violence and the deterioration of humanitarian conditions," a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Elsewhere, President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, strongly condemned on the name of dignity and in defense of peace and world nations, he the insane aggression of the US President Donald Trump against the brotherly people of Syria, SANA reports.

President Morales added "yesterday, they claimed the presence of fake weapons of mass destruction for invading Iraq and today they are firing their missiles under the same pretext."

Meanwhile, President Bashar Al-Assad commented on the aggression in a phone call with Iran's Rouhani, saying that "this aggression will increase the Syrian people's resolve to fight and crush terrorism in every inch of the country"
