MARYSVILLE, Wash. - Police arrested a man accused of throwing rocks at a passing semi truck on Interstate 5 in Marysville Friday afternoon.

Officers said it happened around 2:41 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5 at 156th St. NE near Smokey Point.

Investigators said the suspect threw rocks, then ran across several lanes of the freeway. He also pulled a knife on a Marysville Police K9 team.

The K9 officer named Steele finally helped catch the suspect.

At one point several lanes in both directions of I-5 were shut down in that area while police took the suspect into custody. The lanes were reopened about a half hour later.
