(MENAFNEditorial) WASHINGTON, Feb. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin will speak at The American Legion's 58th annual Washington Conference during the Commander's Call event on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the Washington Hilton, Washington, D.C.
The Commander's Call will take place from 8 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. inside the Washington Hilton's International Ballroom Center East and Center and will be broadcasted live on Legion.org.
Other government dignitaries who will also be speaking include U.S. Rep. Phil Roe (R-Tenn.), chairman of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs; U.S. Rep. Tim Walz (D-MN), ranking member of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs; and U.S. Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT), ranking member of the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs.
On Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m., The American Legion National Commander Denise H. Rohan willtestify before a Joint Session of the Senate and House Veterans' Affairs Committeesin the Dirksen Senate Office Building, Room G-50. Doors open at 9:30 am.
