Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi has won countless trophies and awards during his illustrious career.
His conveyor belt of honours include a staggering eight La Liga titles, four Champions Leagues, and three FIFA Club World Cups.
Individually he is just as impressive, having won the Ballon d’Or five times. However, there is one accomplishment that has always eluded him: a goal against Chelsea.
Messi has faced Chelsea eight times, against three different managers, but has failed to find the net in each one, totalling a combined 655 minutes. Even during his record breaking 73 goals in the 2011/12 season, he still fired blanks in both matches he played against the Blues.
This week he hopes to end the drought because in most cases, when Messi scores, Barcelona win.
