The right-hand lane of westbound Interstate 26 in Polk County has reopened to traffic following a collision between two tanker trucks.The accident happened just after 10 p.m. Friday near Exit 59 at Holbert Cove Road. Dispatchers said an explosion occurred shortly after the two trucks collided.The NC Department of Transportation reported on its website that both westbound lanes I-26 were open as of 10:11 a.m.
