The Mavericks are in town Tuesday night, and most likely so is the owner, Mark Cuban.

$500,000. In 2002, the future “Shark Tank” star was fined a half million when he said he wouldn’t hire NBA ref Ed Rush to run a Dairy Queen.

$250,000. The former bar owner was cited for “several acts of misconduct” after Dallas lost in overtime to the Heat in Game 5 of the 2006 NBA Finals. Cuban went onto the floor to vent directly to an official, screamed toward Stern and a group of league officials in the stands, then used profanity during a postgame press conference.

$100,000. In early 2014, Cuban confronted refs and used “inappropriate language” after a loss to the Clippers. Cuban later said he wanted to be fined. “I couldn’t let the (commissioner David Stern retire) without a proper farewell,” Cuban tweeted. “It’s been a fun 14 years of trying to create change and donating to the (doughnut) fund!”

$100,000. In January of 2001, Cuban was fined for sitting on the baseline during a road game against the Timberwolves. “They said it wasn’t fitting for an owner to sit there,” Cuban said.

$5,000. It was a simpler time in 2000 when the then-new NBA owner was dinged for blasting an official. The policy is to fine anyone who criticizes the officiating,” he said. “I knew that before I said anything. But it still doesn’t address the issue.”
