THIS INTERSECTION IS SHUT DOWN.THERE'S NO POWER TO IT. WHERE I'M STANDING RIGHT NOW ISCLOSED, BUT A REMINDER THAT YOUSHOULD TREAT ALL OF THESE LIKE FOUR-WAY INTERSECTIONS. WE'LL TALK ABOUT THAT IN JUST ASECOND. AS FOR WHAT POLICE ARE SAYING, THEY BELIEVE A GRAY OR SILVER HONDA IS WHAT CAUSED THIS. THE VEHICLE WAS A HIT AND RUN, IT WAS SPOTTED DRIVING NEARBY, INCLUDING AT BANKSVILLE PLAZA AROUND 8:00 LAST NIGHT. THE VEHICLE BELIEVED TO HAVE OUT OF STATE PLATES AND SURE TOHAVE FRONT END DAMAGE AND THEY'RE HOPING THAT SOMEONE WILL BE ABLE TO SPOT IT AND HOLD THE DRIVER ACCOUNTABLE. POLICE HAVE REVIEWED SURVEILLANCE VIDEO FROM THE AREA AND THEY'RE CONTINUING THEIR INVESTIGATION. SO, AS WE CAN TELL YOU THAT THEINTERSECTION IS EXPECTED TO BE WITHOUT POWER FOR A GOOD WHILE,AND AGAIN, A GOOD REMINDER TO TREAT THESE INTERSECTIONS LIKE FOUR-WAY STOP SIGNS.

Police in Mount Lebanon are telling drivers to expect congestion and delays in the area on Thursday as crews work to repair a traffic signal on Beverly Road.The repairs are needed after a hit and run crash on Wednesday night severely damaged the traffic signal, which is located at the intersection with North Meadowcroft Avenue.Police are reminding drivers to treat the intersection as a four-way stop while the traffic signal is out.
