Albertville man dies in DeKalb crash

An Albertville man died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in DeKalb County, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Isidro Salvador Garcia, 36, was a passenger in a 1995 Honda that was struck by a farm tractor driven by Hershel Burt, 86, of Collinsville. The crash occurred at 3:20 p.m. at the 17-mile marker on Alabama Highway 68, less than a mile west of Collinsville.

Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. Burt was not injured.

Another passenger in the Honda was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
