She's worth it! As Crying in the Club singer Camila Cabello is named a new face of L'Oréal Paris, FEMAIL breaks down her sexy, signature beauty look

  • Camila, 20, is the latest to be named a spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris
  • The former Fifth Harmony member joins superstars like Blake Lively and Eva Longoria in the role
  • See how Camila has made loose waves, smoky eyes and neutral-colored lips her beauty signature

Despite the fact that Camila Cabello's peers regularly jump on every beauty trend there is, you won't catch the 20-year-old singer following suit.

Since leaving the girl group Fifth Harmony back in 2016, the Cuban native has honed her sexy, beauty signature: long, loose waves, thick bedhead-y bangs, a smoky eye and a neutral-colored lip.

It's a look that clearly caught the attention of L’Oréal Paris execs, who named Camila their newest global spokesperson. The singer joins the likes of veteran A-listers including Naomi Watts, Susan Sarandon, Blake Lively, Eva Longoria and - most recently - Elle Fanning.

Camila announced her new gig to her 11.4 million Instagram followers yesterday by posting a behind-the-scenes video of her first L’Oréal Paris campaign and writing, 'So honored to become the latest member of the #lorealista family @lorealmakeup.'

In a press release, she further expanded on her excitement, saying: 'I’m so excited to join this multicultural, multi-talented family of creatives, actresses, singers, models, people going after their goals and following their inner voice. I’m grateful for this incredible opportunity to work together to create empowering, uplifting campaigns that really speak to women and girls from all over. Not to mention getting to shoot in Paris!!! For all of you making your own dreams out there, "We’re worth it!"'

It was both Camila's beauty and her conviction to go for what she wants that L’Oréal Paris found enticing.

'We are so proud to welcome Camila Cabello to L’Oréal Paris,' said global president Pierre Emmanuel Angeloglou. 'At 20, she’s a natural-born performer, whose voice and music both moves and connects people. Her journey from Cuba to America as a child to solo artist is a story of conquering fears to go after what you want and stand for what you believe. Asking Camila to join our family of talented spokespersons is a celebration of empowerment, of aiming high while remaining real.'

In the first official images that L’Oréal shared of the star, who was first discovered when she auditioned for X Factor in 2012, she is wearing a simple white tank top. Her long brunette hair cascades past her chest, a subtle hint of contour defines her cheekbones and several coats of black mascara open her big eyes even further.

In some of the images, she is seen playing her guitar - undoubtedly a nod to her singer-songwriter talents, while in others she is looking at her phone, possibly taking selfies she can share with her fans.

The images are 100-percent on brand for the Crying in the Club songstress, who is rarely seen with her hair up or wearing a bold lipstick.

'I wear a lot of makeup when I go on stage or do promotional stuff and I'll have people doing things to my hair,' she told Teen Vogue. 'So when I'm not doing that, I just kind of really like to keep it simple and just take care of myself...I don’t like to use a lot of bright colors on my lips.'

Camila can thank her go-to glam team for helping her maintain her signature look. For make-up, she regularly works with Allan Avendano and Clarissa Luna.

While Allan is known for creating trendy styles on his other clients, like Sarah Hyland, Zendaya and Lucy Hale, he almost always keeps Camila classic, focusing on a winged liner, fresh complexion and subtle lip.

Clarissa is currently tending to Camila's performance looks while she is on the 24K Magic World Tour with Bruno Mars, and while she will amp up the singer's eye make-up with a glittery gold or silver shadow from time to time, she too keeps Camila's overall vibe in mind.

Camila's enviable locks never look anything but healthy despite constant styling, much of which she owes to the styling talents of Marcus Francis.

She also, however, credits the L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Shampoo and Conditioner with keeping her hair in good shape. Plus, she's never colored her hair and isn't likely to do so anytime soon.

'Until I get grey hair, I’ll probably still have my black hair,' she told Teen Vogue. Though she did mention she's open to cutting it. 'I was thinking about cutting it for this tour, but I use it so much for performance — whipping it around — that I’m not sure if I would cut it now. But I definitely want to cut it.'
