Where airlines go, hotels will follow.

As of last year, travelers could fly directly from the US to Cuba for the first time in more than five decades.

Now hospitality brands are vying for the favor of the thousands of Americans who have taken advantage of Cuba’s newfound accessibility. Enter Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana, Cuba’s first five-star hotel to open since the restrictions lifted.

The 246-roomer, located in a classic Old Havana building atop a glitzy shopping mall, started taking guests earlier this month.

Managed by Swiss luxury group Kempinski, the grande dame property houses six restaurants and bars, plus a rooftop terrace and infinity pool.

So go on — soak in the new Cuba (from $370).
