Kansas State coach Bruce Weber signed a two-year contract extension Friday that provides a bump in his salary and could keep him with the Wildcats through the 2022-23 season.

The extension, which came less than a year after Weber agreed to a new two-year contract, extends his deal to five years. He will earn $2.5 million this season with an additional $100,000 each season, culminating with a $2.9 million base salary the final year of the deal.

Weber led the Wildcats to 25 wins and the Elite Eight last season, and returns all five starters and every crucial bench piece next season. He also welcomes a solid recruiting class that could mean a preseason Top 25 ranking and make the Wildcats among the favorites in the Big 12.

Weber is 125-80 with four NCAA Tournament appearances in six seasons at Kansas State.
