The eldest son of 'White Widow' jihadist Sally Jones has taken to the boxing ring as he fights in memory of his dead mother and younger brother.

Johnny Wilkinson, who goes by Johnny Jones Junior, is fighting in memory of his mother and his brother JoJo, 12, who were both killed in an airstrike near the border of Iraq and Syria last June.

Jones became a jihadi recruiter after she left her home in Chatham, in Kent, for hacker Junaid Hussain in 2013, and was dubbed the 'White Widow' when he was killed in an airstrike.

Now Johnny has launched a boxing career and is paying tribute to his killed family members with 'mum' and 'brother' embroidered in red on his shorts.

The young father, who trains in Surrey, was revealed as being Jones' son by the Daily Star Sunday.

Johnny posted a picture of his boxing shorts in April, with the caption: 'Always got them with me.'

The shorts were made by Suzi Wong, who boasts on his page that he worked with Michael B Jordan on the set of Creed II.

Johnny has made his boxing aspirations known since April, when he posted promotional images of a boxing match he was fighting in.

He has posted Instagram videos of him squaring up in the ring, and he is preparing for his next match on July 13.

Although it isn't clear what Johnny's religious views are, he posted a picture of praying hands over an image of people gathered for prayer in a mosque, with the caption: 'Ramadan Mubarak!'

Johnny's mother was a high priority on the Pentagon's 'kill list' because she was believed to have masterminded dozens of terror plots.

She was believed to be the leader of the secret Anwar al-Awlaki battalion's female wing and was said to be responsible for training European female terror recruits.

Jones had used her Twitter account to spread propaganda for the group, and tweeted of her wish to behead a Western prisoner in Syria and behead Christians with a 'blunt knife'.

JoJo was believed to have been forced to execute prisoners during his time in Syria after being brainwashed by jihadis.

A nine-minute ISIS video issued in 2016 appeared to show the boy executing a captured prisoner in a firing squad.
