Finland's producer price inflation rose marginally in August, Statistics Finland reported Monday.
Producer prices advanced 6.2 percent year-on-year in August, slightly faster than the 6.1 percent increase seen in July.
Producer prices for manufactured products sold on the domestic market rose 5 percent, while producer prices of export products went up by 7.6 percent.
The increase in the producer prices for manufactured goods was particularly attributable to higher prices of oil products, pulp, paper, paperboard and cardboard, and electricity.
Month-on-month, producer prices gained only 0.1 percent in August.
Data showed that import price inflation eased to 7.7 percent from 8.1 percent. Likewise, export price inflation slowed to 7.5 percent from 7.7 percent.
