A man has been captured in Tennessee in connection to a murder, according to deputies with the Davie County Sheriff’s Office.On Tuesday, around 2:49 p.m., Davie County deputies responded to the 400 block of Pineville Road in Mocksville. A person on the scene called 911 and said a person had been shot. Jade Sales died from multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect was identified as Dennis Sales, who also lived in the home.Dennis Sales, 38, fled the scene before deputies could get there. He drove off in a 2007 Toyota Camry with a North Carolina license plate of TLX - 6824. There was an 18-year-old in the home at the time of the shooting, along with an infant. The 18-year-old called 911 and reported the incident. They then hid in the home. Davie County Telecommunicators stayed on the phone with them until deputies could clear the scene and found them.Watch: NOWCAST streaming newscastsThere were more children found in schools, and they were brought to the sheriff’s office by SRO for safety reasons. The Department of Social Services assisted with taking care of the children and finding placements, as well as a medical checkup for the infant. Dennis Sales was captured in Kingsport, Tennessee, on Wednesday morning.Officers with the Kingsport Police Department found Dennis Sales’ Camry on John B. Dennis Highway. They tried to stop the car, but the vehicle accelerated and failed to stop.Dennis Sales’ Camry reached speeds over 100 miles per hour during the chase.Officers forced the car off the road near Ollis Bowers Hill Road. Sales then exited the car and pretended to show a weapon. He also tried to hit officers. After a brief struggle, Sales was taken into custody.
