WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A fan-favorite restaurant provided an update on the status of when it could reopen.

Legacy Pancake House shared information saying the delivery of booths and tables did not arrive at the expected time.

The restaurant does not have a set opening date, but is aiming for early May. According to a social media post, the opening date will be up to when the items arrive.

“Please continue to be patient with us, as this is out of our control… when we know the exact opening date I will announce it,” said Legacy Pancake House. “We miss everyone and looking forward to seeing everyone soon!”

In 2023, the iconic restaurant went up in flames at its prior location on N. Keowee Street in Dayton. In April, Legacy Pancake House purchased Holly’s Home Cooking in West Carrollton when the owners announced they were retiring.

Once open, customers will have the opportunity to visit the restaurant at 489 E. Dixie Drive in West Carrollton.
