Catch Louisiana bayou soul singer-songwriter Marc Broussard at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 3.

The second leg of Louisiana powerhouse vocalist Marc Broussard's "Carencro" tour will bring him home for concerts Sept. 27 in Lafayette, Sept. 28 in New Orleans and Nov. 29 in Baton Rouge.

Additional national tour dates to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough album, "Carencro," named after his hometown, were announced last week. Broussard will be performing the album in its entirety, along with fan favorites from his S.O.S series, a news release states.

Also good news for Broussard fans — the "Home" singer, 42, will play the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 3, Alex River Fête in Alexandria on May 4, and Louisiana Grandstand in Shreveport on May 17 alongside his father, Louisiana Hall of Fame guitarist Ted Broussard.

Additionally, the younger Broussard will open for Grammy winner and Lafayette native Lauren Daigle's June 12 show at Lafayette's Cajundome.

Tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.com for all of Broussard's concerts.

"Released in 2004 on Island Records, 'Carencro' marked Broussard's major label debut and breakthrough album.
