Brazilian state Paraná confirms record soybean harvest and wheat will have the largest area in history

The monthly report released by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral) of the Agriculture and Supply Secretariat of Paraná reinforced the record expected for soybean production in the 2022/2023 harvest.

Paraná should produce 22.18 million tonnes of soybean in 5.76 million hectares.

The volume is 82% higher than in the 2021/2022 cycle.

The productivity is 3,845 kg per hectare.

The head of Deral, Marcelo Garrido, explains that this good performance is due to favorable weather conditions.
