Popular Cuban orchestra Karachi has released what has become an instant hit --their Bachata single “Quédate en casa” (Stay Home), included in their latest album Remembranzas.

Based in the Eastern city of Santiago de Cuba, Karachi is this year celebrating its 44th anniversary.

Written by young talented singer-songwriter Omar Felizola, “Quédate en casa” is Karachi’s contribution to the fight against Covid-19 in Cuba.

The already popular single by Karachi is accompanied by a music video produced by video clip maker Leonardo García and his company MIYAGENES.

The song ends with a spoken message, in which Karachi members urge people to stay home, exercise social discipline and comply fully with the measures in pace in the country to stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, while thanking all those who are out there on the frontlines fighting this battle for life against the deadly disease.
