Uzbekistan to host first International Agro-Tourist Festival

Tashkent, Sept.23, 2019. /Kabar/. The first Anor (the Pomegranate) International Agro-Tourist Festival will be held in Qashqadaryo Region of Uzbekistan on Sept. 26-30, the press service of the State Committee for Tourism Development reported.

Potential investors and entrepreneurs are expected to participate in the Festival, as well as delegations from Italy.

As a result of the Festival, it is planned to sign an agreement on establishing brotherly relations between the Uzbek city of Shakhrisabz and the Italian city of Caserta.

Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov signed a resolution on the development of agro-, eco-, ethno and extreme tourism in Qashqadaryo Region in March this year.
