A brown bear had to be shot and killed in a school yard in Transylvania, Romania, after it broke into several houses in a local town.
The bear had been running rampage in the city of Miercurea Ciuc, entering homes and reportedly slaying a goat.
The bear then climbed a fence into a local high school after being chased off by locals at around 6am Tuesday morning.
Once inside the school yard, the male brown bear reportedly became agitated and destroyed several fences.
After securing the area at mid-day, a professional hunter shot the bear, which was then removed from the school.
