Bevin is speaking out in favor of foreign companies investing in Kentucky.On Wednesday, the governor signed a proclamation supporting more global investments in Kentucky at AAF Flanders, an air filtration company headquartered in Lyndon.In 2016, AAF Flanders was purchased by Japanese company, Daikin Industries. Bevin spoke to employees about the importance of foreign companies bringing jobs to Kentucky: "Forty four years ago to be exact, the first company came and now there are more than 200 employing more than 45,000 people, just Japanese-owned companies."He also said that foreign companies are investing nearly $3 billion private capital. That's the most in a single year in state history.

On Wednesday, the governor signed a proclamation supporting more global investments in Kentucky at AAF Flanders, an air filtration company headquartered in Lyndon.

In 2016, AAF Flanders was purchased by Japanese company, Daikin Industries.
