COLORADO — Authorities in Colorado are searching for a pregnant mother and her two daughters.

Shanann Watts, 34, and her young girls were reported missing Monday. Watts’ husband says nobody has been able to reach his wife, who was last seen at her home.

Watts grew up in Moore County and still has family members in North Carolina.

“They’re doing their best right now to figure out if they could get a scent, see where they went, if they went on foot, if they went in a car, if they went somewhere,” Christopher Watts said.

On Monday night, Christopher Watts couldn’t sleep.

“Knowing that I wasn’t going to kiss them tonight…that’s why last night was horrible,” he said.

Shanann Watts and her daughters, Celeste, 3, and Bella, 4, went missing early Monday morning after Shannan Watts came home from a business trip in Arizona.

“I left around 5:15 a.m., she was still here,” Christopher Watts said.

Christopher Watts tried calling his wife several times throughout the day with no answer, but when he got home on Monday, her purse, keys and phone had been left in the house.

“She wasn’t here. The kids weren’t here. Nobody was here,” he said.

On Tuesday, investigators spent the day trying to find any type of lead as to where the family may have gone.

Christopher Watts said the couple had “an emotional conversation” before his wife’s disappearance.

“I just want them back. I just want them to come back and if they’re not safe right now, that’s what’s tearing me apart because, if they are safe, they’re coming back. If they’re not, this has got to stop. Somebody has to come forward,” he said.

As of now, Christopher Watts is just looking for a way to speak to his wife and kids.

“If you’re out there, just come back. Like, if somebody has her, just please bring her back. I need to see everybody again. This house is not complete without anybody here. Please bring them back,” he said.

According to Christopher Watts, there is no video of his wife leaving the home.

Police are asking anybody with information in the case to come forward.
