It's one thing when an animal is rescued from certain doom, but it's another when said animal makes his/her way halfway around the world into the lap of the Queen of England.

A beagle named Guy was found in the woods in Kentucky in 2015 and he was scheduled to be euthanized until a Toronto, Ontario dog service, A Dog's Dream Rescue, stepped in to save him. The USA series Suits, as does a lot of series and movies, shoots in Toronto.

Meghan Markle, now the Duchess of Sussex, starred in Suits and she picked up Guy at an adoption event.

The actress posted several pictures of the lucky pup before she had to delete all her social media accounts due to her new marriage and her new digs. Guy moved with Markle to the UK in November and he found a friend in Queen Elizabeth II. He joined her when the Queen went to tea with Markle and her mother before last Saturday's big wedding.

The Queen's last corgi passed away earlier this year. I'm not crying, you're crying!
