The Pequot Lakes Revolution Dance team competed in their first conference competition of the season at Aitkin on Friday, Dec. 8, where the varsity placed third behind Aitkin and Crosby in the high kick competition. The junior varsity team came in fourth.
"The team had an energetic performance," coach Melissa Holland said. "Our dance this year is fast and includes some tough transitions and more difficult kick combinations than what we have done in the past. The team kept their energy up throughout and fought until the very end. We increased our total point score from Detroit Lakes by 17 points and improved in the areas of difficulty, execution, and routine effectiveness."
Pequot Lakes will next dance at Holy Angels High School on Saturday, December 16.
