A majority of Michigan's Lower Peninsula is experiencing Verizon Wireless outages.
In all, 54 counties -- including Bay, Saginaw, Midland, and Genesee -- are affected. The problem started about 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 11.
Verizon has not stated what caused the outages or when they could abate, though crews are working to remedy the situation.
