PELL CITY — Police in Pell City are looking for a 2014 Chevrolet van that was stolen from the parking lot of the Pell City Boys and Girls Club on 19th Street South Wednesday.
“Dear Friends and Family,
“A 2014 Chevrolet van (which is white and has the group’s name and logo on both sides), tag number 1CD2703, was stolen Wednesday, November 29th from the Pell City Boys & Girls Club (BGC) on 19th Street South.
“Pell City Police are looking for the suspect(s) who stole the van from the BGC parking lot. Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to contact Detective Chris Norris at 205-884-3334.
“This van is critical to the operations of BGC and is used daily to picking children up from school and bringing them to the Club and for field trips. When children arrive at the Club, they enjoy a healthy meal, receive help with homework, learn leadership skills, play sports, and more.
“Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama is thankful to one Board Member…who has offered a ,000.00 reward for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for this theft. As he quoted: “Let’s try to keep Christmas a good memory for The Kids!”
