A FATHER and son will both receive a fine and penalty points after police stopped an uninsured car.
On Saturday police patrolling the Woodhead Road area, near the University of Bradford, spotted a car being driven without a valid MOT.
Further checks revealed that the driver also did not have valid insurance. The officers seized the vehicle and reported the driver for the offences.
Checks also showed that the owner of the car, a Toyota, was the driver's father, who had given permission for his son to use the vehicle without insurance. Because of this he too was reported, and they will both receive a £300 fine and six penalty points.
