TECUMSEH, Okla. – Two people are dead following a head-on collision in Pottawatomie County.

On Tuesday afternoon, Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth says two cars collided along U.S. 177, near Tecumseh.

Booth confirmed to KFOR that two men involved in the wreck died at the scene.

Officers closed the highway in order to clear the accident scene, but it has since been reopened.
